Hello and welcome to the website for Abiding Love Church. It’s always a real joy for us to meet and fellowship with individuals and find out what your interests are in serving the community with Abiding Love Church.

Our belief’s are simple, we believe in God and we share the love of Jesus.  Our goal is leading people in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whatever that next step is, it’s time to take a bold step of faith out of your comfort zone and discover what God has for you. We believe that you can’t go with God and stay where you are.

General Information

Abiding Love Church currently gathers at the Quality Inn, 6320 Amp Drive in Clemmons, North Carolina, 5 miles west of Winston Salem, right off Interstate 40.

Abiding Love Church was formed in March of 2018 as a church plant of Evangel Fellowship to be led by Lead Pastor Micah Huggins. Micah & his wife Lauren began planning a church with 10 faithful people, that would intentionally cross cultural and generational boundaries, one that would bring people from all walks of life together into the family of Christ.

Faith Common Questions

  •  What is saving faith?

Saving faith is the Spirit-enabled embrace of and resting on our faithful God in Christ for the redemption offered by him through the promise of the gospel.

  • Is hope necessary for the Christian?

Yes, because we are born into a living hope through regeneration, this grace necessarily manifests itself in this life in expectation of good things from God.

  •  What is the chief end of our love to others?

The chief end of our love to others is to glorify God and Christ by loving them first and foremost.

  • Of faith, hope, and love, which is the greatest?

Love is the greatest, because it alone will remain in eternity and because it makes us most like God.

Should I be Baptized?

You should be baptized as a symbol of God’s grace.

Repentance is simply being sorry for and running away from your sin. The Bible makes a clear connection between repentance and baptism.

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38, emphasis added).

When we repent, we agree that we are sinners who violate God’s standards for holiness. Part of the process of repentance is telling God we need Him to clean up the messes we make. Because of grace, He is faithful to do it!

Baptism is a way to say the world, “I can’t be holy on my own. I’m a sinner and I can’t stop sinning, but because of God’s grace, I can turn from sin.” Baptism is a picture of the way only God can make us pure and whole. Isn’t that a picture you’d like to paint for the world?
