You worked the late shift. The kids had a game last night. Or Sunday morning just came too fast. At Abiding Love Church, worship starts at 2:00 p.m., so you can sleep in, have lunch, and still be in church in downtown Greensboro.
Plenty of people in Greensboro love God and still can’t make an 11 a.m. service. Nurses and hospital staff coming off a night shift. Students at UNCG and N.C. A&T. Parents juggling Saturday-night games and Sunday-morning work. Families driving in from High Point or Burlington. A 2:00 p.m. service gives you the morning back and still puts you in God’s house on the Lord’s day.
Worship begins at 2:00 p.m. and usually runs 90 minutes to two hours: heartfelt worship, a message from Pastor and Prophet Micah Huggins you can carry into Monday, and time to pray. You’re on your way home by late afternoon with your evening still ahead.
