When people search for a church in Greensboro, they often see words like Spirit-led, Spirit-filled, or prophetic. Those words can sound mysterious, or even a little intimidating. Here is what they mean at Abiding Love Church.

Spirit-led means we expect God to be present

We believe the Holy Spirit is active today. He comforts, guides, heals, and empowers believers to live the life God intended. Being Spirit-led means we plan our services carefully and still leave room for Him to move: a longer time of worship, a moment of prayer for someone who needs it, a word of encouragement nobody scheduled.

Prophetic means we believe God still speaks

A prophetic church believes God still speaks to His people to encourage, strengthen, and comfort them, always in agreement with the Bible. At Abiding Love, anything spoken as a word from God is weighed against Scripture and delivered with love, order, and care. Prophecy is never a performance, and it is never used to control anyone.

Equipping means you are not just a spectator

Our mission is to lead people to Jesus Christ, love people to maturity and wholeness, and equip people to leave a legacy. We want every believer to discover their gifts, grow in their identity in Christ, and serve with purpose. Church is not something you watch; it is a family you belong to.

What it does not mean

Being Spirit-led does not mean chaos, and being prophetic does not mean weird. We value order, honor, and the plain teaching of the Word. We preach from the King James Version, and we believe the Bible is the final word on everything we teach.
